London French Lessons

Native French Tutor

Taking an exam is not necessarily the best way to learn a language as sometimes what you learn, preparing for the test, is irrelevant to what you really need the language for. However, it usually sets up a good solid basis and provides a strong focus and a clear standard to achieve.

There are many examinations you could take in London. For more information, you can contact me.

I am a fairly relaxed teacher but when it comes to exams I aim for perfection and push my students to get the very best out of them. I combine a very thorough approach to the language and its grammatical structure with a strong focus on conversational skills to enable students to gain confidence, with a lot of practice.
"Dear Annie - I passed the exam. She was impressed. Just wanted to let you know.
Many thanks for your help and you are a very good teacher.
Stay in touch."

"The Examiner (Annie Gentil) was encouraging with her candidates and put them at ease. She did not however avoid, to her credit, covering a wide range of challenging questions in a very spontaneous way. Candidates were very much encouraged to work for the marks and the conversations heard were mature and interesting"

"Sympathetic and thorough examining with a wide range of questions that allowed candidates to give their best"
